We explore the spaces where mobile and social technologies can promote the safe and effective use of medications.
Medication management is complex and involves a large team of people including the patient, the prescriber, the pharmacist and all the health professionals a patient encounters as they move through the health system. There is ample room for innovation but there are also many barriers to adoption related to health, age, literacy, privacy and security. Our research focuses on exploring those barriers to support mindful, patient-centred innovation.
